Dr. Julia Harz

I am an theoretical (astro)particle physicist at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Since Oct 2018, I am an Emmy Noether Junior Research Group Leader and TUM Junior Fellow.

My research is driven by fundamental questions of astroparticle physics. I aim to make progress in the quest of uncovering the origin of the baryon asymmetry of our Universe, the nature of dark matter and the mechanism that generates neutrino masses. My Emmy Noether group devises new methods to test different models with complementary experiments, aims to improve the precision of theoretical cal- culations and develops new ideas to explain these three phenomena.
